Wonderful dinner! You can never go wrong with carrabas. Our waiter Javier was amazing, he gave us great recommendations and made our visit pleasant and enjoyable. I wasn't sure if I wanted to order my usual the pollo Rosa Maria or try something new like the penne franco. Our waiter suggested that I can have the penne franco as a side instead. I absolutely loved it! My husband ordered their salmon dinner special with a crab cake topping, that was really good. Ended the meal with their John Cole ice cream- you can never go wrong with ice cream.

Horrible. Tried to pass the calamari appetizer off as fresh, it was double if not triple recycled. Ate at the bar, one bartender does not speak, perhaps she does not know english as she never got us anything we asked for such as butter. New menu, well, it sucks. Shrimp and scallop in Vodka Sauce, really? Was there even any shrimp or scallops in it. Pork loin wrapped in parma, really? The thickness of a McDonalds burger. An absolute horrible meal. I was here once before and it was ok, all of my friends say stay away, I now say STAY AWAY. Rubbish service, food......oh, and upon parking, the host with the huge man hips came running out and told us that we could not park in the handicapped space [my friend is with a proper tag], what was that all about? This place is a miss, don't be drawn in by the coupons---they coupon for a reason.

Everything was very tasty. We had a pitcher of blackberry sangria that was enough for 4 glasses and cost $33 (and had equal amounts of ice and sangria). I think it was a little overpriced considering there was so much ice, but the sangria was delicious. The bread that you get before appetizers is served with olive oil and herbs, which is awesome. We had fried calamari, chicken soup (my favorite soup I've had at a restaurant to date, it is super spicy), lobster ravioli, and vodka sauce with chicken. Everything was delicious, and our server was great.

Started off with a bowl of minestrone soup. It was delicious and loaded with vegetables, potatoes and noodles. The main dish was a nice filet of salmon. It came with a rather small serving of pasta in a nice tomato sauce. My wife had the same soup plus chicken marsala smothered with mushrooms in marsala sauce. Her dish can with delicious mashed potatoes. tasted it. I thought it was steak, that's how good it was. It was washed down with iced tea. Service was very good and attentive. The restaurant is very clean. Its an open kitchen as you can watch the chef from your table. I think this lends a nice touch to your dining experience. The food in general is very good. Great for any occasion.

Wow! I have seen Carraba's restaurants in several places but never thought to stop in as I assumed it was just another chain. We went to the Pompano Beach location when we were in town visiting family and I was blown away. The host started out by taking great care of our children. He set them up to watch the pizzas being made and gave them pizza dough to play with, then ushered the adults to an actual table. He and the waitress were excellent with the kids. As for the food - one of the best meals of my life and I do not joke about that. We started with their fried zucchini "fries" which were really good. I then ordered a mahi dish that had artichoke and capers and it was amazing. Seriously, it was the best mahi dish I have ever had, with fantastic flavors and cooked to absolute perfection. To close out the meal, we ordered a chocolate dessert that had a brownie, mousse, and whipped cream. It was so airy and light yet decadent. I left the restaurant in absolute disbelief. I expected to go in and have a decent meal and then forget the place. But it was memorable in all the right ways.

horrible! Come on people with the five stars! The place is absolutely filthy and the food was horrible. Loved walking in and seeing sweet and low packets on the floor. Carrabba's is sometimes wrongly assumed of being similar to the Olive pot or the Macaroni Stove, but the quality of their ingredients and the style in which they prepare their food is not at all to be compared. I personally like the Marsala and capatavi pasta, but whatever you choose you will feel good to know it is made right then. If you cannot find a seat go to the stools over the cooking area and watch them make your dishes from there. They serve you fresh bread with an erb mixture an olive oil which is consistently tasty. The soups are a better option with your meal compared to the salad and if you have a specific way you want something prepared they are perfect to custom any dish you throw at them. Overall I have been happy with this location the serval times I have been there. Good staff and good food consistent with the others!

A complete disappointment. Now I remember why we never went back. Also, we ordered online for take out. The flavors are good, but.... We asked if the pizza would be better if we got 2 kids pizzas or one normal pizza. They said either would work well. The kids pizza looked like a 7" soft taco with some cheese sprinkled on it. One was supposed to be pepperoni and the other cheese. They were both cheese. We received the wrong dressings from what we ordered. The Johnny rokko salad was very small and overpriced and the portions were very small and overpriced. Maybe I'm just having a bad day or something, but this dinner was very disappointing.

Not nearly as fancy inside as the Miami Beach location, nor does it attract the same class of people, but the food and service were still great, it's just not as upscale. It's still better than Olive Garden or Macaroni Grill, in my opinion in respect to quality and ambiance. Don't forget to get your complimentary bread and pesto sauce. The pesto sauce is delicious!

For a chain restaurant, Carabbas is very good. I especially love their easy take-out service and the food is very tasty. I often get carry out because of the convenience and how nice everything is packed, they even include their delicious bread, a packet of olive oil and their secret spice mix and a packet of grated Parmesan cheese. - Call-in and place your order or place online and tell them the type of car you have, - Park in one of the marked Take-out spots - they immediately bring out the order to your car - Pay and you are on your way - love it. I know other chains have also added dedicated parking for take out but I am yet to find anyone as efficient as Carabbas. Their minestrone soup is delicious, probably my favorite minestrone around, and I am a big fan of the steak Marsala served with fettuccine Alfredo - yum!

Is it standard chain food? Yes of course. So don't expect a 5 star Michelin rated restaurant. Take it for what it is and rate it based on the class that it's in. I've dined here twice in the past week. Was it mind blowing food? No ! But It was damn good and the staff was even better. The manager has an heavy accent but we was all kinds of wonderful. The kitchen staff was so dedicated to good food and service and also very entertaining. This location is now my fave carrabas and will continue to drive out of my way to eat here when I'm in the mood.

I'm on their email list so I got invited to a party. They wanted us to try samples of food to get our opinion before adding to menu. We tried appetizers, entrees, and a dessert. Bread and olive oil was also provided with the seasoning.

With several "local" options for quality Italian cuisine, I don't frequent Carraba's often. However, when I do, I'm always pleased with the quality if their food. When you couple that with a friendly waitstaff and a soothing/warm environment, it makes for an enjoyable evening and pleasant experience. It's kind of funny really, because I've yet to have a bad meal at Carraba's, yet I rarely think to go. Perhaps it's time I change that...

From out-of-town and this was my first time at this one. OMG, the food was fantastic and the service was superb. I find it hard to understand how the other Italian restaurants are still in business. This is by far excellent place for one or party. Managers name is Scott and he was very helpful as well as my server.
I give it 5 stars. Food is very Italian and tasty. Happy hour is fantastic. 1/2 off drinks and apps every day inc weekends. Employees are very nice. Feels like a New York home style restaurant. No complaints. Very nice people no bad attitudes. One of my top 5 places in the neighborhood :D

I'm not very big on chain restaurants but when it comes to Carrabba's i make an exception. From the minute you walk in you can smell that homemade Italian taste that permeates the air. Once seated you are given hot fresh Italian bread piping hot from the oven, and served with extra virgin olive oil with spices to dip your bread in. (yum!) There is a wide variety of choices to choose from on their menu, chicken, veal, seafood, and of course pasta. With your dinner meal you get a choice of soup or salad. I recommend their salad with their house Parmesan dressing. It is creamy and tangy with the perfect hit of Parmesan. Carrabba's prices are very good, and their portion size is large. They do have a limited wine selection but what they serve i found was acceptable. This place is good for families, dates, groups or just about anyone looking for a good meal at good prices.

We have been frequenting Carrabba's for many years and have never had a problem at all. The last time we visited was most disappointing in food and service. Our server was condescending, dismissive, and rude. Since we always share I made sure to ask if we could and she told us that sharing was not permitted? So when we ordered one entree and an appetizer, she was clearly annoyed. We ordered the Pasta a la Vodka with shrimp and it was completely bland and a small portion. At the end of our meal when we asked to speak with a manager, nobody was available. I wrote a letter to the store manager a week ago and have still received no response. We will never return to Carrabba's.

As a vegan, sometimes it's difficult to find meals for myself at certain restaurants. Thankfully I had a great experience at Carrabba's because my server, Robert, was very understanding and accommodating. He offered me an alternative to the usual herbs and oil with bread that is complimentary (the herbs are mixed with cheese-who knew!) and helped me chose a menu item that did not contain any meat, dairy or eggs. I will most definitely return to this location because of my great experience and I recommend it to anyone who wants a great meal and exceptional service!

Some people might not know this - The pizzas at Carrabbas are fantastic!! Try a Margarita pizza, not on the menu but they will make it special if you ask. Soo yummy! And if you are not feeling like pizza, try the chicken trio. HUGE dish with 3 different entres. Youll definetly need a togo box.

The thought of their bread is enough for me to go to Carrabba's. It's about the same cost as Olive Garden, but feels much much more upscale. It's great for a romantic date without breaking the bank, or just a fun time out with friends. I really enjoy their calamari.

Even though it can get noisy and crowded here, 5 of us had a terrific meal here in February 2009. Our server was so nice that I actually told the manager how pleased we were. She treated our 4 year old well and brought her food out first before our dishes were ready which was so great. The meal was a carb fest with lots of pasta and chicken dishes. We had fun. (Even for a chain...)

Where you gonna go for good Italian? Carrabba's of course. I really like this place. Great atmosphere! A notch above Olive Garden in service and style, although the food quality is comparable to Olive Garden (which is always a little too crowded for my tastes). The table bread is however much better than Olive Garden's cardboard yuck-sticks. Carrabba's is also a great place for a date or special occasion because it is more of an upscale feel. Prices are reasonable. My waiter told me this chain also owns Bonefish Grill and Outback Steak House. What's not to like? Check them out! By the way... don't sit at the end of the bar where the servers pick up drinks, you will hear the staff bickering with each other endlessly 9 times out of 10.

I'm a big fan of Carrabba's and have yet to have a bad experience with them until I visited this location. The service was fine but the food was the major let down. I ordered menu items I've had plenty of times at other Carrabba's and they have never disappointed me till today. Pasta which should be the easiest thing for them to get right was overcooked and drenched sauce. The whole meal tasted like a bad imitation of a real Carrabba's from start to finish. I'd skip this particular location if I were you, no excuse either since they were pretty much dead when we visited.

I love coming here to sit up at the "cook's bar" and watching them prepare meals. Every time I sit up here we end up talking with the cooks and getting free little samples. They are all really nice there and we've made tons of friends. The appetizers are delicious like the calamari and my mother loves the steamed mussles (even though I find them overly salty), and the free bread is dangerous because it's so good you might eat the whole loaf and not eat dinner. The pizza is great - actually better than the neighboring Anthony's Coal Fired Pizza. My favorite dish though is the Chicken Bryan. I love the goat cheese - even though sometimes it can be overwhelming. And I get it without sun-dried tomatoes but the lemon sauce is tangy and compliments the chicken very well. Sometimes I have to remind them not to burn the chicken, but overall - it is grilled chicken. My boyfriend loves their sausage and lentil soup. He also really likes the sirlion and chicken marsala. As a side dish I would always pick the mashed potatoes. If you like ravioli, they have a good mezzaluna, but if you have a more expensive taste the lobster ravioli is a lot better with a very sinful white sauce. My Dad loves their lasagna, but that's something I couldn't rate since I don't really like lasagna and haven't tried it.

When hanging out in South Florida (my second home), options to find consistently decent food are few and far (note the keyword is consistent). However, this Carrabba's has always provided me with good service and decent food. The prices are cheap and the menu basically offers something to satisfy everyone. The one thing I enjoy the most is the hot bread they serve -- When it arrives to your table straight out of the oven, it is fantastic! Is it a bad thing to want to come here just for the bread alone??!!

A Great sirloin Marsala dinner. The best steak fo the money. Also, Happy hr. is available at your table. The new $15 trio menu is a super deal. My Wife loves the chicken Brian. the tasty bread selection is hot and home made, served with oil and herbs. They never let us down yet, but it gets crazy-busy in tourist season, so get there early.

I have eaten at a carrabba's before in another town. I was very impressed with the service and the quality of the food for a chain italian restaurant. This one in Pompano Beach would get 3.5 stars from me but I rounded it up to 4. I ordered the Calamari appetizer and I found it very salty. For dinner I had the chicken cutlet and lasagna combo. It was very good except I found the chicken cutlet very salty as well. My friend ordered the chicken cutlet dinner and found his to be salty too. I will still visit carrabba's again, just next time I will watch the salt and mention to the waiter to leave as much salt out of the food as possible and take it from there.

This was our first visit to Carrabba's and both of us enjoyed our experience. Our waitress was friendly and knew what she was talking about. She recommended different meals for different taste and was informative and patient. So service was wonderful and the food and atmosphere was great too. It wasn't to loud but was still lively. The bread they serve at the table with the seasonings and olive oil on the side. Was so soft and yummy. Our waitress made the evening fun by having us guess the different 9 herbs and seasons. We tried the Antipasta Plate, which has Calamari, Bruschette, and Mozzarella Marinara. The dark breading on the Mozzarella gave us a double turn but it was fine. The Bruchette was tasty. But what really did it for both of us was the Calamari. PERFECTLY cooked and seasoned. Our salads were crisp with the right amount of dressing. and the entrees came in the right time without being one on top of the other. We both ordered the Filet Spiedino for our entree. Both of our filets were cooked correctly (medium, and medium rare) and it was exquisite. The taste just burst in your mouth, without the actual explosion. All in all, the service is wonderful and informative, the atmosphere was lively, and the food is just fantastic. We definitely will be going again and will recommend it to friends and family.

I eat here several times a week and usually will give them 4+ stars, but I have to let everyone know NOT TO ORDER what they call a "dinner salad"... I ordered a take out cobb salad with grilled chicken breast. I was hungry and arrived home to open the bag only to see a salad smaller than the side salad that comes with a meal as a side. There were 4 measly strips of chicken and the tinyiest salad I ever saw. Thought it was a mistake, call and the nice young man taking the order said it was correct. I drove all the way back to speak with a manager as this was ridiculous it was $14.00 with my tip. The manager confirmed that the salad was the correct size and offered to give me an additional side salad to mix in with it. That was nice. I am happy he did that but so disappointed in the fact that they sell this for $12.00. Not worth $6. Do NOT order a dinner salad at Carrabba's. Bone Fish Grill is much better and their salad is tastier, larger and less $$.

Only reason giving this place 4 stars is ever time I bring my member ship coupon for free Appritzer waiter always looks like she has no idea what it is. Before coming to this place go online and become a member for free offers and they will always send you a coupon for a free Appritzer of your choice. First off Crab Cake is just awesome!! Staff is great. Person running that kitchen seems to be always on his chief making sure they do there job which is awesome. Wine.......... is a bit flat I must say but I don't drink much so doesn't bug me. Food is great but even better with coupon!!

In all my years of travel never have I received such excellent service! D Money made us feel like such Masters! We blessed unto $100 tip. Every time we pass through, even if we need to go a little out of the way, we call to make sure D Money is present. We feel compelled to carry on the tradition of leaving her $100 because the service just seems to get better each time. I leave you with these words from one Master to another you won't be disappointed....

This is my mom's favorite restaurant, so I'm here often. They have plenty of tables and we've hardly ever experienced a wait, even when it's been very busy. The waiters are usually attentive and service is fast but doesn't rush you. They give you a basket of warm bread and some herbs and olive oil to start. I LOVE this bread and the herbs, but don't fill up on it, which is very easy to do. I usually order the angel hair marinara (the spicy marinara), or the chicken gratella. The chicken is very flavorful, but sometimes it's a little on the salty side. They tend to not put enough of the sauce on the angel hair, so I usually have to ask for more on the side. I love both of their salads - the house, and the caesar. The house salad has a good amount of carrots and celery (which I like) to balance out the lettuce. Also try their minestrone - the broth has great flavor and is different from any other minestrone I've tried (it's my favorite!). They have a good selection of desserts, including some tiny shooter desserts. I had the deconstructed cannoli, which was very good, but I regretted it later because I was SO full. Overall, I always leave here very satisfied (and usually stuffed).

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.
Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.
If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

Funny place . Don't usually like chain restaurants but this one is always consistent and food is very good. Great bread, great soups and incredible Italian Sangria. Love this place

Had a great experience here. Food was fresh and tasty! Liked this location.....been to another one where I had a bad experience but this one was good.

With the exceptions of Capital Grill and Carrabba's I generally avoid chain restaurants, but I've eaten at a lot of Carrabba's locations from Rochester, New York down through Daytona Beach and at this particular location at least a dozen times and have always been pleased. Their service is top notch, friendly and polite. The place appears clean, has a pleasant décor and above all I've found the food to be some of the freshest around having clean distinctive flavors and texture. Indeed, I've found much better Italian at Carrabba's than I have in Italy, particularly in restaurants even specializing in Southern Italian cuisine in Rome (when it comes to Italian food, Rome has the worst) and then at nearly a 10th less in price. For my meal tonight I started with a cosmopolitan cocktail which was served up with perfect lemon peel twist which turned out to be one of the better cosmos I had in the area. Then, a Caesar salad topped with blue cheese. The romaine was crisp, the flavors clear and the other cheeses enhancing the overall flavors. For an appetizer I had the mussels marinara. The mussels were tasty and the marinara zesty. Then, for my entrée the veal Marsala which was topped with mushrooms along with a Marsala sauce having a good, decent rich flavor about it. My meal ran $27.95, since I hit the half priced Happy Hour drink special, which I would consider to be a darn good value for the quality of food I had.

This is the best Carrabba's I've ever been to! The calamari was perfect, and the meal was near perfect.

Great ambience food was delicious service was excellent didn't wait too long for appetizers out waitress was very attentive def recommend

I come here often and always have a great experience. The food is always good, but it's the friendly staff that keep me coming back. Marcella is my favorite server, she always goes the extra mile.

We always have a great meal here. I suggest call ahead seating, but even if you have to wait - it is worth it

This place was good. The minestrone soup is the Best!!! My boyfriends chicken came out burnt and our server handled the situation with out a flaw!!

gotta love the bread and herbs with EVOO, mussels had a weird funky " I may pay for this later" kinda taste, spicy seafood pasta was pretty good, for standard american italian this is the place to be.
